‘Kumuyi’s prayers’ll restore peace, sanity in Rivers’

PORT HARCOURT— Rivers State Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Edison Daminabo, has said that the prayers offered by the Founder and General Superintendent of the Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, will restore peace and sanity in the crisis ridden state.

He recalled that killings in the state have been on the increase even as the economic crisis that the nation was facing deepens.
Daminabo, in Port Harcourt, yesterday, while addressing newsmen on a three-day visit of Kumuyi to the state tagged, ‘Connected in Rivers,’ scheduled to hold on the October 2, November 6 and December 4, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, added that the state needs God’s intervention.
Kumuyi had, last month, visited the state on a one-night prayer conference and on the request of the state government, the cleric would be revisiting for the fortune changing prayer programme, holding once in each of the remaining months in the year.
Daminabo, said that the essence of the visit was to turn the fortune of the state as the nation faces economic downturn, adding that only prayers will handle the things leader cannot do.
