India’s first 1Gbps commercial broadband service has been announced by a Bangalore-based internet giant ACT Fibernet. The fiber-optic service is currently available in Hyderabad and will be rolled out in other cities soon. A monthly subscription of the service comes at the cost of INR 5,999 with a 1TB FUP limit.
