Apple is currently enjoying the top spot of the wearables market, but according to latest information, the Cupertino company plans to launch its third-generation smartwatch latest this year. It is believed that the Watch Series 3 will launch

alongside flagship Apple iPhone 8.

The first-gen watch was manufactured by Quanta Computer, which was also the sole source for the Series 2 models and is now rumoured to be the sole manufacturer for the new model. Not much is known about the watch except it should receive bumps to processing speeds along with an extended battery life and cellular connectivity.
