Google, Facebook Affected By Large Phishing Scam

A Lithuanian man was able to get $100 million from Google and Facebook through a phishing scam, reports Fortune
Over the course of two years, Evaldas Rimasauskas, pretended to be Quanta Computer, which Facebook and Google are clients of.

The Department of Justice says Rimasauskas was able to steal money by forging email addresses, invoices, and corporate stamps. 
By pretending to be Quanta Computer, he brought in millions of dollars.
Accounting departments at Google and Facebook were convinced to send millions to Rimasauskas. 
By the time his scam came to an end, he had $100 million across various European bank accounts.
We recovered the bulk of the funds shortly after the incident and have been cooperating with law enforcement in its investigation.- Facebook
