Like on YouTube, Facebook is going to let video creators make money when their videos are stolen.
If someone re-posts content without the creator's permission, the original creator can receive all of the revenue associated with the content.
Facebook's updated Rights Manager system will let owners know when a stolen video is detected.
When you're presented with info about a stolen video, you're given a few options. Facebook lets you block the content, monitor its metrics, or decide at a later time.
On top of those options, creators can claim ad earnings against content that they originally came up with.
