Aside from announcing a successor to the bezel-less Mi Mix, Xiaomi has also unveiled a successor to the Mi Note 2 handset. The new Mi Note 3 might not
have thin bezels as other premium phones, but it has a very good price tag and is very well built with decent specifications.
It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a 3,500 mAh battery It has similar camera setup as the Mi 6, with dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with 2x optical zoom and portrait mode, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The fingerprint scanner is located on the front and the phone also supports face unlocking.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 starts at 2,499 yuan or $380 and the top model is priced at 2,899 yuan or $450.
