For the Samsung’s Android army, the prime representatives Galaxy S8 and S8+ are most likely to be first ones to receive Oreo update. And we shouldn’t forget last year’s player, S7 and S7 Edge.
Their upcoming Note 8 would another Oreo contender. Other than the flagships, Samsung’s mid-range series including Galaxy J, A, etc.

According to an earlier report by PhoneArena, around nine devices are getting the Oreo update. Most probably, before the end of this year, as Sony is present in Google’s list.
The devices include Xperia XA Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Ultra, Xperia L1, Xperia X, Xperia X Compact, Xperia XZ, and Xperia X Performance.

LG has been really quick at putting Android on their phones, at least for the top-tier devices. They took two months to release Marshmallow for G5 and for released Nougat aboard LG V20.
For this year’s Android, it’s quite possible the LG V30 might pop-up with Oreo pre-installed.

The Taiwanese manufacturer is one of the first ones to confirm the devices for Android O. It includes five phones released as a part of the Zenfone 4 series and the Zenfone 3 devices from last year.
However, Asus said that all the supported devices would receive Android Oreo update gradually until the second half of 2018.

The Chinese manufacturer has flooded the markets, mostly India and China, with their low-cost Android devices. Xiaomi hasn’t officially released the names of Android 8.0 devices.
However, according to a report by IBTimes citing a Quora user, claims are being made about the Oreo update being scheduled for some popular Redmi and Mi devices. We have reached out to Xiaomi regarding the official device list.
