A system for self-publishing Xbox One and PC games, Xbox Live Creators Program, has launched. Microsoft has introduced both the program and a new

Xbox Store "Creators collection" section that'll highlight self-published indie titles. Nine games are currently available.

Games placed in that section aren't going to have access to Achievements, Gamerscore, or Xbox Live multiplayer. They'll need to move to the existing ID@Xbox program in order to have those features.

Since no concept approval is required for these titles, this is the easiest way for indie creators to make their content available.

This is just the beginning. You'll find creative games, some familiar styles, and some brand-new experiences; really, whatever these imaginative developers chose to make.- Chris Charla, director, ID@Xbox program
