Chinese Company Huawei Shipped 73 Million Smartphones In The First Half Year Of 2017


After South Korean companies posted the Q2 results, Huawei has also published its results, but for the first half of 2017. The numbers are definitely promising, as the Chinese company shipped 73 million smartphones in the first half of the year
and 36% increase in revenue YoY.
Out of 73 million, Huawei shipped 8.5 million Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro units, followed by the P10 and the P10 Plus with 6 million shipments. The recently announced Honor 9 already reached 1 million sales. The smartphone division posted a revenue of $15.58bn, while overall Huawei's revenue hit $41.83bn (CNY 283.1bn) in 1H17, up 15 percent annually.
