The high-end iPhone 8 isn't the only upcoming model that's been delayed, reports Digitimes(China). All three iPhones have reportedly been affected by delays, contradicting reports that the iPhone 7 and 7s Plus are on schedule. If
true, none of the models will be ready for a September launch.
It's still possible Apple will introduce them during an event in September, but their availability will be pushed back compared to prior generations. Most reports had suggested the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, which represent less significant upgrades, would be on track for a September launch.
In the case of the iPhone 8, production reportedly hasn't begun. That means it won't be ready for release until November or December at best. And a similar delay exists for the other models, indicating Apple will begin production about 2 months behind schedule.
