Oculus Won't Be At E3 This Year, First Time Since 2014

For the first time since 2014, Oculus VR isn't going to appear at E3.

The company confirmed it's going to skip the event in a statement to Venturebeat. It has had a booth at E3 during each annual event for the past

three years.

During its time at E3, Oculus saw its booth take up progressively more space as its business grew.

No explanation for its absence was provided by the company, though it might be skipping E3 because it doesn't have new hardware to show off.

Last year saw the introduction of its Touch controllers.

Oculus is going to be announcing new games and other updates later in 2017.
