Apple Pay Arrives In Italy

Apple Pay has officially launched in Italy and it comes with support from 3 banks. The mobile payment system is initially working with Boon, Carrefour Banca, and UniCredit. Cards from Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.

The service has been slowly expanding around the world, reaching markets in Europe and Asia in particular. Its launch in Italy has been expected for quite some time, especially since Apple Pay documentation for the country went live in February 2017.

Apple Pay works with the iPhone 6 onward, all Apple Watches, the iPad Pro, the iPad Air 2, and the iPad Mini 4.
