Infinix Hot 4 vs TECNO Boom J8
Infinix vs. Tecno
Let’s have a look at the smartphones with similar characteristics. Our first contestant is Infinix Hot 4 – one of the cheapest choices from Infinix line-up, although one of the latest additions to it. It is equipped with 5.5 inch HD-display, nice Quad-Core processor and 2Gb RAM, 8 MP front and 5 MP back cameras and even a fingerprints scanner. Its closest rival, Tecno Boom J8, is from the same price range (around ₦55,000), has the same amount of RAM and similar processing unit, its rear camera is a bit better (13 MP) and its screen is made using an AMOLED technology. On the down side, Boom J8 has less efficient battery (3000 mAh vs 4000mAh) and is less exciting in terms of design. Although the phones look pretty similar, Tecno looks like an iPhone clone, while Hot 4 has original grating design on its back.
Infinix Hot S vs TECNO Camon C9
Infinix vs. Tecno
These smartphones are in the middle between really cheap ones and leading models. Both of them cost around ₦65,000, and in general, they are pretty similar. Both models have the same screen, battery capacity (3000 mAh) and front camera, but here’s where the similarities end. Hot S has some advantages, such as a little bit better central processor, but Tecno has more merits, including exceptional front camera, iris scanner and powerful graphic processor, which allows to play the latest mobile games wherever you want. Camon C9’s minimalistic design is certainly a plus too, but that is more of the matter of personal taste.
Infinix Zero 4 vs TECNO Phantom 6
Infinix vs. Tecno
Now let’s take a look at the most powerful representatives of both camps. Both of these models are the latest additions on the market both announced in the end of 2016. Again, both of them are from the same price range (₦100,000 – 120,000), but this time the difference between their specs is too obvious. Zero 4 is bigger (5.98 vs 5.5 inches), has a better processor (Deca-Core Helio X20 vs Tecno’s Octa-Core Mediatech), more RAM (4 Gb vs 3 Gb) and much better cameras, (its front camera has the same resolution, as the Phantom 6’s main one!). This time, Infinix is a definite winner.
It is worth mentioning, that, although all the phones’ operating systems are based on Android, each manufacturer has their own version of Android (HiOS from Tecno and XUI from Infinix). Both systems have their differences, but still they offer a full spectrum of functionality. And you can install Jiji App on any of them to get the best offers on whatever you need on the go!
Overall, both phone producers can offer you a great variety of smartphones to use and there is no real winner - it’s really a matter of personal taste. You should look on each separate model and find something different from the same price range to compare. Visit Jiji.ng to find a great variety of smartphones to choose from. And do it at the best price existing on the market.
