What happens when beauty pageant winners get prizes order than what they were promised by the organizers?
We have had situations where some beauty queens have either been dethroned,
or asked to return forfeit the crown or even return the prizes they were promised by the sponsors.
In this case, a model hunt winner must have been very shocked after receiving the car gift which was promised her. The problem is, the car turned out to be an old car, old model, dilapidated, could barely start when the ignition was turned, e.t.c.
According to a post shared by an Instagram user identified as @Babaahmiteh, the car above was issued by the Face Of Delta/Model Hunt 2016/2017 organisers.
Stating his displeasure over the 'prize', he wrote:
"As funny as this might sound, 2 months ago a model approached me to coach her for a pageantry, at my leisure time I did and ladies and gentlemen, here's the winning prize. Truth is as little as my spare time was I had to tutor her, I actually feel like a trash can, waste bin, I feel useless, dilapidated and corroded for the time spent. Ok, that aside, she has to pay 100k to claim that "car" , they tried to start the car and it didn't come up, she was told to get a new battery, according to her the form was 4k. That also needs panel beating, then the "organizers" had the effrontery to wrap the seats as per "tear rubber" or? . Did she tell them she wanted to open driving school? . #stopdefraudingyoungnigerians"
This just proves that 'not every car is a 'car'...LOL!
