UNEC students turn up for Glo Campus Storm

Students of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus penultimate Friday hosted the Glo Campus Storm, a flagship entertainment show of Globacom during which they enjoyed sizzling excitement like never before.

Thousands of the students trooped to the   White House Auditorium, venue of the show which had three of Nigeria’s best musical stars,  Egberi Papa 1  of Bayelsa, Timaya; Mr Incredible, Jude Abaga popularly called MI and new music sensation, Runtown   on the bandstand   for several hours.
The three big acts took turns, reeling out hits from their collections for the enjoyment of the youths who responded by dancing and singing along with their idols.
Highlights of the evening included Mr. Glo Campus Data Dude and Miss Glo Campus Data Diva contests   by 18 beautiful ladies and 18 handsome gentlemen who employed all tricks in their arsenals to emerge favourites of the judges for the competition.
At the end of the keenly-competed process,   Ogbuefi Pascal, a 500 level undergraduate of Medical Radiography won the coveted  crown while Ikpe Igbe Joy a 400 level student of Law became the Miss Glo Campus Data Diva. The two   winners   won hundred thousand naira each.
Glo Campus Storm music concert is on a tour of 24 campuses nationwide and is expected to   extend into the second quarter of 2017.
